We can provide trained Youth Support Workers and Disability workers who are trained to be generous and respect people’s choices.
Dementia advisory and support services
According to Dementia Australia (2023), dementia stands as the primary cause of death among women and ranks as the second leading cause of death for all Australians. While there is no definitive cure for this progressive condition, extensive research indicates that psychosocial interventions and person-centred approaches can significantly enhance the quality of life for individuals living with dementia. At GCSA, we offer advisory, counselling, and training on dementia. We also offer support for End-of-Life Care services, palliative care, pain management, and specialised care for Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), aiming to support individuals in their journey toward improved well-being and enhanced quality of life.
